GentlemanHQ is, at its heart, a blog about grooming and Men’s style. However, that doesn’t stop us from slow expanding our reach into other areas of the gentlemanly arts, and we hope to expand more as we grow.
We’re relatively new to the blogging community, and we’re happy to contribute to it in the shadows from the veteran blogs, who have been around for a long time (you can see some of those great blogs in our “Top Shaving Sites” and “Top Men’s Lifestyle Sites” lists).
We’re still young, but we have plans to grow. As such, we have three primary missions.
Mission 1: Provide Value Through Informative, Engaging Content:
This is our primary goal, it’s the thing we do best, and it’s what allowed us to gain any traction at all in the first place. We hire great writers for one reason only: to write about awesome stuff in a way that is fun to read and helps grow the wet shaving community.
Whether it’s big how-to guides, tips, or advice, we like to think of ourselves as a one stop shop for all things related to Men’s Style.
Mission 2: Provide Value Hands-On Reviews of Wet Shaving Products:
Our reviews are written by people who have used the products. We have had the good fortune to get some awesome samples from companies around the world, but in many cases, we purchase products ourselves.
The idea is that we don’t want to write one word without having actually used this stuff, so that you know exactly what you’re getting way before you ever decide to buy something.
Mission 3: (In Progress) Provide Value by Selling Top-Tier Artisan Shaving Products:
Articles and blog posts are great, and we started this blog because we love writing about this hobby of ours. But we’d love to provide even more value. Hopefully, we’ll be able to do that by starting a physical store.
We’ve been talking to a number of different artisan manufacturers who make the absolute finest handcrafted shaving goods.
